This is the first set of accounts from these two new bodies. Under the Enterprise Act 2002, on 1 April 2003, the appeal tribunal functions of the Competition Commission were transferred to the Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) and the Competition Service acquired the function of providing support services to the CAT.
