Global manufacturing, which grew by 3.2 per cent in 2022, has proven to be a driving force in global economic development. Although industrializing economies only represent 9 per cent of global manufacturing value added (MVA), their manufacturing sector has proven to be an engine of economic growth, achieving a higher growth rate compared to many already industrialized economies
