Established for over 70 years, TRL is committed to working with a wide range of customers in both the public and private sectors to create the future of transport.

From this research TRL publishes more than 50 reports a year covering a diverse range of transport-related subjects, including: Transport Infrastructure, Safety, Transportation, Environment, Vehicle Safety, Investigations & Risk Management and International Development.

TRL Reports series (1993 to Present)

TRL's current and primary series of published output. The series was formed from the renamed Project Reports series and begins at TRL121. Note: the first 120 of these reports run from PR1 to PR120

Published Project Reports series (2004 to Present)

Though written primarily for the Customer these are now available for a general audience. This series enables a rapid dissemination of our project outputs.

Viridis Reports series (2002 to Present)

Viridis is a trading name of TRL for its waste and natural resource research and development centre, creating innovative technology relating to the theme of sustainability. It develops policies and practices to improve waste and environmental management and to promote sustainable development.

Transport Research Foundation (TRF) (2001 to Present)

A series of published Lectures by Fellows of the Transport Research Foundation tackles fundamental and topical issues of relevance to transport and transport research, and is intended to stimulate debate - sometimes radical.
