These are The Stationery Office Ltd's ("TSO's") prize draw terms and conditions. These terms and conditions set out rules for, and apply to, each of TSO's prize draw competitions ("Competition"). Any person entering a Competition ("Entrant") agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1. Entries are not permitted from employees (or members of their immediate families) of TSO or any associated company of TSO. Only one entry per person will be entered into each Competition. Entrants must be 18 years or over.
2. All completed and returned surveys will be entered into the Competition, unless otherwise requested. The winner(s) will be chosen at random from those entries received before the closing date as stated in the competition or survey, unless otherwise specified. TSO will contact these winner(s) to inform them and arrange supply of the prize(s). Completed entries will not be returned.
3. The winner(s) will be contacted via the email address or telephone number that they have provided. In the event that the winner(s) cannot be contacted at the details provided, the promoter will not be held responsible.
4. Only the prize(s) available will be awarded. No cash alternative will be given. The prize(s) is/are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be combined with any other offer or sold or auctioned.
5. Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of receipt. TSO is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment or software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet, telephone lines or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to Entrant's or any other person's computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation in the Competition.
6. Any personal data relating to Entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and TSO's Privacy Policy.
7. The competition is run by TSO, whose decision is final.
8. By entering this prize draw you expressly agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, TSO reserve the right to cancel or amend these terms and conditions at its sole discretion and without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on www.tsoshop.co.uk. The Entrant is responsible for reviewing all information posted on-line and the continued participation in the Competition after changes are posted constitute the Entrants acceptance of modified terms and conditions.
9. TSO, its associated companies and their officers and employees, will not be liable for any claim, demand or loss (including without limitation indirect, special, punitive or consequential loss) however arising that may result from participation in any competition. Save that nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude TSO's liability for any liability that cannot be excluded by applicable law.
10. TSO shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by an event outside of TSO's control. Such events shall include but not be limited to war, threat of war, riots, civil commotion, acts of God, government, terrorist activities, strikes or other industrial action, accident, technical problems with transportation, natural disaster, storm, flood, fire.
11. Each competition, including but not limited to these terms and conditions, any specific terms and the operation of the competition, shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and all parties shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
